Help us celebrate this community tradition, which promotes awareness about child abuse and neglect and raises money to help Fairfax CASA volunteers advocate for those children under the court’s protection.
The race will again be held at the Fairfax County Courthouse complex and feature music, wonderful food, great prizes and raffle items.
Additional highlights for 2014:
- The fast paced 8K is back for its second year! How long is an 8K you ask? It’s about 4.97 miles! However, we still have our popular 3K course, which remains unchanged.
- Corporate groups, civic groups, and individuals have the opportunity to build team spirit and run together in groups. Get creative with team t-shirts and posters, or set a goal to raise additional money for the children we serve. Interested in heading up a team? Check out the team page to get started.
- Participants under 18 yrs. old can once again take advantage of our special youth pricing. School groups are especially encouraged to get involved.
- There are also several ways to get involved behind the scenes before and on race day. Please visit our the volunteer page for more information.
Abused and neglected children need support from all of us in order to reach their potential. Be a part of their support team by registering for Fairfax CASA’s 2014 Run for the Children.
